code 11 now, (no crank referance signal detected during engine cranking).
is this refering to the crannkshaft position sensor? it will start every time, stone cold, but drive it around a bit, and it will not start until it cools off, help, im going nuts with all these sensor issues, if it tells me one day its the throttle position sensor then this then something tomarrow.
so far i have had the following codes come out of the puter:
11
12
42
24
and 55 which is end of messages.
ill post tomarrow the next code it gives out

That is a typical sympton of a bad crankshaft sensor. Thats where I would start. Clear the codes also again.

Did you find the fix for this problem?

yes, it was the crankshaft sensor, but i still have a bad throttle position sensor, idles at 1400 rpm's

Have you checked for a vaccum leak that may affect the idle??

i have checked for vacuum leaks from the get go, i even took the plenum off to make sure anything under it was disconnected, if i take off the throttle positioin sensor and leave it plugged in what would happen? could i still control the idle with the idle screws?

Don't mess with the screws. You will make your problem worse. Did you pull the lower plenum or just the upper? The bottom has a paper gasket and is more likely to leak. If you are really into fixing this you might consider a subscription to alldata.
http://www.alldatadiy.com/buy/index.html Did you use a factory part? A lot of aftermarket parts are not of the same quality. Just because it is new does not mean it is good. Because of the way cam and crank sensors are wired on this car a bad cam sensor can generate a code for a crank sensor.

the sensor replacement did fix the starting problem, starts every time hot or cold. i forget the fault code but it did come back as a throttle position sensor
