Cell Shaded 2003 CivicTony 03-28-2003, 01:24 AM well here is my 2nd Cell shaded vehicle, this one was created from just the outline, no back ground or anything. Tell me what you think. I know the buildings aren't that great, but its something http://www.cynoptics.com/images/tony/outline.jpg DSi 03-28-2003, 03:41 AM  you got it:smoka: Graphik Styles 03-28-2003, 03:48 AM yo that looks wikkd...........how did u do the outline thing though? 92akkord 03-28-2003, 04:59 AM thats pretty awesome how would you go about doin that? is it a regular picture or is it already just an outline? Tony 03-28-2003, 09:54 AM alright, well it started off as this http://www.pixelfibre.net/uploads/post-6-1048093291.jpg then i just used the line tool and drew an outline of the car, windows, reflections, etc. And then I deleted that pic and it left me with just the oultine of the car. Then I just went from there and filled in each section with a shade of blue. then on the brakes, they were completely drawn, except for the caliper, just found a pic of a caliper and sort of outlined it, then filled it in. After I had the body filled in, i had the background black, then from there i went and made the background. Thanks for all the comments. RyanGiorgio 03-28-2003, 11:15 AM I just did a similar project for my advanced computers class in school. Mine is a Golf R32 that i photochopped. I used Adobe Illustrator and used the pen tool to draw the cells. Then i used the gradient tool to shade the cells. I have to Email it to myself, and then i will post it. Unfortunately i dont have Illustator. Well, that was a mouthful. Anyway yours is damn good. The buildings look awesome. Great skill. Tony 03-28-2003, 12:54 PM i haven't messed around much with illustrator, i have it, just never messed with it.
