The official publishing outfit for Ford service info is "helminc.com". They have online service but I prefer the old paper service manuals ... which they also sell. A shop manual for the mechanical stuff will set you back about $350. The wiring diagram book (which is separate) will costs about $55. Heres a link:

Hello Olliek,

I bought factory manuals off e-bay. On e-bay type in something like "Ford Windstar 2000 Workshop Manual." Vary the wording for more hits or to expand your request. Manuals are rated for condition. You will see that the asking prices vary a lot, I responded to ones priced and shipped reasonably and had "make an offer" headings. I did not bid on them, just made offers.

I watched and made some offers and counter offers in Jan and Feb and purchased a Ford Motor Co Windstar 2001 Wiring Diagrams manual for $11 US including shipping. It is 1/2 inch thick and part number FCS-12255.01.

The Windstar two volume 2001 Workshop Manual p/n FCS-12249-01-1 was $36 total including shipping. They are 1 1/2" and 2 1/2" thick.

Don't know what current prices are but even much more they are worthy. Was pleasant shopping and even received a thank you note from "Rich and family" for buying their manual. I think folks are purchasing manuals from dealerships that are closing and selling them on e-bay.

Happy hunting and repairing.
