I Was Taken By Surprise!Polygon 03-19-2009, 01:00 AM It seems to just be the way it is. Either people don't race or it's a surprise race! I was out in the Stealth and I heard something next me revving so I automatically revved back and when I looked next to me all I could see was a huge F350 so I stopped revving. The light turns green and it was this Saab that was hiding next to him. I didn't get a chance to launch so I floored it as soon as I saw him. He launched it pretty well, minimal wheel spin. And after I floored it he held with me until I topped first and I had started to pull ahead. Thank you damn syncros, and he pulled even again. Same deal with second. He held until the top. When I shifted to third, this time with no syncro complaints, and I just walked away and then he gave up. I was really surprised. Second good race I've had in the car minus the syncro issues. I want to know who that was and what he had done to his car as that was pretty cool. VR43000GT 03-19-2009, 04:13 PM Sounds like you may need some syncro mesh Polygon. I've never had any problems with mine but if they start to give me any trouble I am sure I will add some. Good race. Polygon 03-19-2009, 04:22 PM Yeah, it's done this since I bought it. This spring/summer all the drivetrain fluids are getting changed. If there's no improvement I'll just get a 25 spline setup and a torsen center diff and ditch that stupid VCU. CassiesMan 03-25-2009, 03:09 PM Good race! I was actually thinking about a Saab 9-3 Aero for a bit, kinda quirky and fun but pretty quick. However, with a non existant after market, and a price that rivaled a base level 335i sedan, I backed out. Quirky and fun has its draw backs. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
