Hey guys, I decided since my time at my auto repair school is coming to an end, I should start taking pictures of my work. I'm 18 btw. I've learned so much, I couldn't explain it. All work pictures was done by ME. I would never try to take credit for someone else's work. Anyway, this whole week I've had the paint gun in my hand. So here goes, mistakes and all. First car of the week. 2008 VW (Silver) Repainted the Left QP. There was a hole here in which I repaired. http://i493.photobucket.com/albums/rr294/solekeeper90/vw.jpg Uh-Oh, I ran the blending solvent. http://i493.photobucket.com/albums/rr294/solekeeper90/run.jpg But! That's what wet sandpaper's for! http://i493.photobucket.com/albums/rr294/solekeeper90/fixedrun.jpg http://i493.photobucket.com/albums/rr294/solekeeper90/fixed.jpg Wetsanded and buffed one of the customers' tail lights. http://i493.photobucket.com/albums/rr294/solekeeper90/1500.jpg Finished http://i493.photobucket.com/albums/rr294/solekeeper90/light.jpg Next up Lexus RX, (Old one) White Pearl. Repainted Entire Right side except fender. Boy, this color was tough to match. http://i493.photobucket.com/albums/rr294/solekeeper90/lexus.jpg Sorry no pictures of the damage. Or any other pics of it finished, was pressed for time!! Next 09 Mercedes Benz Black (OB) Repainted bottom portion of Left Quarter Previous student who worked on it left it in a mess the day before, so I walked in, took a picture and got to work. He didn't show up the next day. (You snooze I win) :woot: http://i493.photobucket.com/albums/rr294/solekeeper90/benz.jpg Those specs are not dirt, just the flash from the camera http://i493.photobucket.com/albums/rr294/solekeeper90/bz.jpg http://i493.photobucket.com/albums/rr294/solekeeper90/benzsid.jpg The dog leg had not one ounce of orange peel. Was very happy. :pimpin: http://i493.photobucket.com/albums/rr294/solekeeper90/dogleg.jpg I really hope you guys enjoyed them! If anyone has any questions about body work/Paint, let me know. I'll try my best to help! solekeeper 03-18-2009, 09:06 PM hm, it won't let me post. But here is some of the work in this link! http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=652781&highlight=just+thought+share Greenblurr93 03-19-2009, 07:07 AM why wouldnt you blend into the fender on the lexus?? i saw you brought the paint pretty much to the edge already... LearnAutoBody 03-19-2009, 08:17 AM Thanks for posting the pics. Are you going to work for your dad's shop? solekeeper 03-19-2009, 03:17 PM Most likely, but I'll find a job somewhere in case. Nothing to lose obviously, lol. And as for not blending into the fender, the damage was in the quarter and Rear door. And a ding on the front door (near rear door) So color was dusted in that area.. And the whole front door was cleared. Color was not applied to the whole thing. catus 05-25-2009, 12:21 AM Hello All, i just luv the information about cars provided by this forum.i have a car and i got many related informatin thanx catus advertising link removed by Moderator vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
