I've got a 99 Ford F150 4x4 5.4L

It just started chugging real bad. I'm not losing compression, still can get up to speed, but it doesn't have the guts it usually does.

Engine light came on, It's reading P0302 misfire on Cylinder 2.

I'm thinking it's a dirty fuel injector, so bought some fuel additive, threw it in there, with no improvement.

Anyone have any ideas of what I can do to resolve the problem.
Thanks!

More than likely you have a bad plug on that cylinder. These are also bad about the boot burning a hoole through to the block shorting to ground. It might be time to invest in a tune up.

sounds like a coil problem you can do a compression test to see if a lifter or valve or a ring. or do a tune up and change air and gas filters also.
