Love the front disc brake!
Ever see one of those with the pinion gears and drive cable that connects both wheels?
The cops use them here sometimes...pretty cool, 2WD bike...

Not gonna lie - that's a pretty sick bicycle. My dad used to have a Specialized mountain bike. It was really nice. I finally have my Diamondback 18spd mountain bike here in Nashville, but I am going to have to buy a pump to fill up the tires. They are FLAT! I'm just hoping I can get it back into riding shape. I could use a distraction from the life falling apart all around me.

Its a 27 speed.
1st gear is crazy. pedalling so fast and just not moving. pretty cool trying to ride up very steep inclines easily though.
It cost me $3500 AUS which is about the same as a shitter Gixer 750 from pre 95.
I figure:
1) I won't lose my licence
2) I won't get killed as easily
3) better for my fatness
4) better for my fitness
5) i need a hobby other than searching the net for ........um bike related photo's.

Hey Blayne,
That is one bad ass bike, but don't ride over your head as they can be dangerous too. I've got a 6" plate and 9 screws in my right arm to prove how dangerous mountain bikes can be! Even at relatively slow speeds, gravity still works!

I'm the sensible one!
I don't even jump the thing ........yet.
given my responsibility and debt level, I'd be stupid to ride in a way to put me out of work for more than a day.
The bike certainly has better potential than I'll ever find.

All the guys are younger than me and i keep up. just. probably because they all smoke. :grinyes:

If Sydney is anything like the Portland Oregon area, you better have a lock on it whenever you aren't with it.
My daughters have had three bikes stolen, one out of our garage!
Every time they weren't locked.

It sleeps inside with me!
when its on my truck, its the first bike on and I have made a number plate frame with lights to bolt to the bike rack. The wheels are strapped so they can't move as are the other bikes. Its not coming off in a hurry!
If its not at home or on the truck, my ass is in the seat.
unfortunately its a highly sought after bike, so its theft rate is massive.
The big bonus is, the property where i live at the moment, has about 15 German shepards. one of which is attack trained. no-one steps foot on the property.

So what you're saying is that all the other asylum residents are superjealous of your sweet new wheels. :runaround:

We lived in southern California while my husband was in the military. We lived in a very small apartment, across the street was a community college with a Police academy, he left his bike out every day with no lock, no one touched it.
We moved into base housing, he did the same thing. I kept warning him to lock it up. He never did, within a week or so of living on on base housing property it got stolen! (No police Academy or security guards there!)

Now that's the Speed we all love. You need to get out of this funk you've been in lately Speed, we miss that sharp wit of yours!
Aussie bought the bike so he could have an excuse to wear his coolio Asylum-issued helmet in public without drawing attention to himself. Then they kicked him out for trying to organize a hockey team, hence the reason he lives with Kelly now.
