The ca is idiling at about 1300rpm which is still abit conpared to normal also it is running a t66 turbo at 19psi. Could the turbo be th one drinking all he fuel?? Any suggestions or comments would be great me email is dantheladysman81@hotmail.com sami 03-27-2003, 07:40 AM Originally posted by dannyvd Well as you have already noticed i bought an r32. RB20DET? Evomaniac 03-27-2003, 09:30 AM turbo's like fuel and especially when running a high compression ratio, detonation is very evil I had to rebuild my subaru 2.5rs which i had turbocharged and forgot about getting a aftermarket fuel pump and fuel pressure regulater and bigger injectors,im so pathetic but hey now my engine is okay, not much hp though i'd say about 300 with the minor mod's i had on it, someday i'll get the jdm 2.2 stroked engine, anyway's this is off-topic why did i mention it. :D SkylineUSA 03-27-2003, 10:47 AM Hey Dave, that was very informative:rolleyes: dannyvd, Like sami said, what are your other mods? Are you in the go pedal a lot? My GTR idles at 900, my GTSt idles at 650. My GTR will high idle for a little while, at 1300. When I bought the car, it would idle there all day, I took the whole intake system off and cleaned it out. The MAFs were pretty dirty, if the are dirty this might also cuase a loss in mpg. After I cleaned the MAFs up the idle dropped. If you are in your turbos a lot, this will also drop mpg. I have a Stang with a Supercharger, running normal I can get 23mpg, but when I have raced her she gets about 9mpg. tazdev 03-28-2003, 06:39 PM the idle seems too high. is that with aircon on or not?
