My 1971 El Camino has 2 flashers. A Hazard Lite flasher and a turn signal flasher. The Hazard flasher is on the fuse panel. Where is the Turn signal flasher? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Clipped to the bottom of the dash below the instrument cluster. It's buried in there pretty well in a metal clip.

You don't happen to have a wiring diagram for this car do you?

My post isn't quite in regards to yours, but I have a 76 that has had flasher problems for a long time now. I've posted about it as well but haven't found a solution. I just read your post and am hoping it might could help me as well to replace this flasher fuse too. Do you suppose you could point me to a more specific location as to where this turn signal flasher fuse is? Would really appreciate it.

I have diagrams for 1972. They are probably very similar. GM was consistent about maintaining common color codes and circuits for many years.

What sections are you looking for? Lighting? Power? Engine? Interior?

You might find some diagrams here:

I just wanted to say thank you so much! Your post helped me to solve my problem as well! It turns out we DID have the wiring connected correctly, but we had not known there was a different turn signal flasher up in the dash. We had of course first replaced the flasher on the fusebox, and replacing the second one in the dash made the difference, thanks so much!
