Eric:confused: '97ventureowner 03-10-2009, 11:05 AM Are you referring to a safety inspection? I would have to say "no" as i would follow the expiration date on your windshield sticker if you have one, or your state/province administers one. Providing the vehicle was stored properly, there shouldn't be much concerns, especially with modern cars. I would enlist the help of somebody to check the lights to make sure they all still work, do a thorough "look-over" of the vehicle and take it for a test drive,( if still registered.) That's what i have done over the years that I have stored vehicles over the winter and then brought them out of storage in the spring. j cAT 03-11-2009, 12:02 AM hello there just wondering if anyone knows if you need a safety for a car after winter storage I am in On,Canada. Eric:confused: where I live the safety/emission inspection is good for 1year,,,or if the car is just purchased the new owner must get a new inspection even if the sticker is not expired.. since you are still the same owner in my area this would not require you to get it re-inspected... vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
