:wtf:I have a 2003 dodge stratus R/T 3.0 that sometimes ticks from a cold start up. It will tick from 2-5 minutes and goes away. The car runs fine and seems to still have all its power. I've done a little research and figured it is a sticky lifter or a timing belt tensioner. is there any other symptoms of these to prove one or the other? If i keep driving it will it cause anymore damage and what can i do to fix this ticking problem. Any ideas for engine/injector/anything cleaner that could help? Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

Normal and perfectly harmless. It's a common issue with this Mitsu 3.0 V6 engine. Just like the 2.7 tends to sludge oil. Aside from replacing parts, you'll just have to deal with it. Happens to mine too.
