Firewall engine mount90accordEXR 03-26-2003, 06:26 PM Has anyone replaced the engine mount on the firewall side for a 1990 Accord EX-R? If so, was it a driveway type of thing? I know that I will need to take out the intake manifold to replace it, but was curious to get some tips before I attempt it. The part is pretty expensive (about $250 CDN). Does anyone know where I could find it cheeper? I've had someone put the car into Drive and reverse (back and forth) and verified that there is lots of movement in that area, but what I would like to know is there anyway to verify the valve/solenoid that it uses to pump air into the engine mount at the appropriate times and amounts? Maybe a quick summary of how it works or a few pictures would be nice. Any and all help would be appreciated. Thanks. hondaman-iac 03-26-2003, 07:40 PM so u have the same problem too. i never attempted to fix it, but for 250 cdn that's hella cheap vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
