This is my mini studio  http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f257/grafit_photo/all/IMG_6259.jpg CrateCruncher 03-13-2009, 11:28 AM What a great job Mark! I'm hooked to the end. If you need a specific detail shot let me know. I have access to a 1/1 version. As a builder I consider three things for a great model kit: 1) Beautiful Subject 2) Loads of Accurate Details 3) Widely Available (aka cheap!) The Tamiya 916 gets a 10 out of 10 on all three in my opinion. They really did it right on this kit. I could niggle over the use of giant screws but thats easy to change. M.Boy 03-13-2009, 12:31 PM Thanks! I have access to a 1/1 version Which version? maybe Senna? I look for pictures (from close) with rear shock absorber from Showa. I have an Ohlins but I need standard Showa. http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f257/grafit_photo/all/ducatiohl-1235947987-2671.jpg M.Boy 03-14-2009, 05:59 PM 50 small parts prepared on gunze primer http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f257/grafit_photo/ducat/ducati0088.jpg JimboCO 03-14-2009, 07:27 PM Fantastic thread! I guess the copper color on the front forks is a Senna thing? Standard 916 is cast aluminum damper w/vertical red SHOWA logo and white nylon clamps to attach the front fender. M.Boy 04-06-2009, 02:49 PM ...I guess the copper color on the front forks is a Senna thing?... But look at this photos. This bike will be a stunner. Why not put some clear over that mosquito and leave it as is... ;-) /Joel Roca46 05-31-2009, 04:56 PM Great work with that exhaust pipe, In my oppinion a fine coat of clear should give it the correct shine, I think it is too much matt.
