This is the burned exhaust valve in the #3 cylinder that compression tested at 75 psi.

Good thing I have 3 more coming from Partsdinosaur.
Honed the cylinders today. Really easy.
Tomorrow I am going to clean the pistons. They are soaking in mineral spirits overnight.

Damn those exhaust valves!
When i rebuilt my head I noticed that at some point in the past the #3 exhaust valve had been replaced and was wearing out again. Weird huh?

Ahhhh yes. I rebuilt my engine a year and a half ago and after 22,000 miles, it sounds like I have an exhaust valve going already. I bought a reman head on Ebay and rebuilt the bottom end myself. Looks like my part of the job held up better than the other guy's:iceslolan
Oh well, fotunately, I have a new set of valves. I'll get 'er fixed up this summer.
