I have a 94 golf and this alarm and light are on when i move off. I have cheaked the oil level and is fine the car seems to be ticking over fine i have driven it a little to with no obvious problem? can anyone tell me how to stop the alarm? or fix the problem?

Put in a new oil pressure sensor and hope the light goes off otherwise you may actually have low oil pressure.
