would like to know the size of my rear speakers, I also have a thumping on my front floor, i'm thinking it maybe a transmission problem, transmission seems to sometimes slip or hesitate when accelerating, i'm wondering maybe I should change the transmission filter.

The rear speakers are 6" x 8". There are quite a few 5" x 7" speakers on the market that fit the 6x8 openings. You might try Crutchfield (http://www.crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/autoinfo/autoinfo.asp?lp=%2fapp%2fCar%2fMyCar.aspx) to verify the sizes and see some of your options.
