i have a 99 ford tarsus radio goes offand i lose power steering any ideas why

I seem to remember someone having very similar issues a year or so ago. I don't recall exactly what they found their issue to be, but I suspect it to be a Transmission Range Sensor (TRS). Try searching the forum for "Range" and see if you find a post or two that match your symptoms.
