well my friend is.. He's only 20 i guess him and his girlfriend combined make a decent amount they want to buy a 06 bmw 535i. Any consistent problems with the car? The car does have 60,000 miles think that may be too much? Any comments would be appreciated!

A 08 535i is in the E60 model, the other would be the E34 89-93. The E28 88- don't know.

The model ran from 04-07 530i, but it must be a 06 530i with 60k so it’s out of warranty which was 4 year 50,000 miles, that’s a 3.0 with 255hp and 220tq.

Insurance might be high at that age and maintenance isn't cheap.

If your friend wants to know how much he should pay for his insurance he can get quotes from different companies in this site, this way he can decide if he can afford this car
