Help! My 94 JGC windshield wipers only work on high. We replaced the wiper motor but had no effect. Does anyone have any helpful hints?

It sounds like the wiper switch. When you move it through the slower speeds does it work at all, or just sit (and not work) until you click it to "high"? Either way, it sounds like the switch (in the steering column) might be acting up.

Open the lower kick panel on the driver side floor left side. The control box for the wipers is there. Open box and remove card. Look on back of card at solder traces. You should see a trace that was burned open. use a solder pencil and fix the broken leg. A small wire or piece of a paperclip will do.All functions should come back. This happened to mine but my problems were only high. no low and no park position. If no solder leg is burned thru then another problem is happening with yours. See what you got.....good luck.
