can a pm6 ecu(obd0) run obd1 fuel injecters-readallen 02-17-2009, 12:39 PM Im doing the dpfi to mpfi swap - I have a dpfi d15b2 w/ pm5 ecu and I want to swap one of my z6 intakes(w/ obd1 injectors) on them, on the d15b2. I have a pm6 ecu and td18 dizzy - from my research this will work by just leaving out the resistor box. I am just want to verify that the other peoples on other sites are correct about this. so does this real work or should I get obd0 injectors and a resistor box. one more verification- can the pm5 and/or pm9 run mpfi? Christ 02-17-2009, 07:01 PM You need PM6 or PS9, those are the only two OBD-0 D-series MPFI ECU's. PM5 will not run it, nor will PM9. Yes, you can run OBD-1, 2a/2b, or basically any type of injector you want off the PM6, as long as the injector uses 12v pulses. (Voltage might be wrong). The only purpose for the resistor box is that the injectors that require it don't have internal resistance. The ones that don't require the resistor box will still run with it intsalled, but there may be some issues with injector voltage. Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
