gas gauge reads 1/2 tank when filling ,,yet cant get any more gas in tank..no blow back,,n ony takes 7 gallons..makes me think sender junqued out..any help ,,anybody have this issue thanks paps..oh n wehre did you find a sender?

The sending unit is in the tank with the fuel pump. Go to the salvage and get the wholel thing in the tank.
