Just curious as to how I could find out or if anybody knew the voltage and amps? It's a '93 4.0 L6.

(also has 4 wheel if that matters)

i know this is a little late, but you could call an auto part store and ask them to run specs on that system.

V well all vehicles run on 12 volt system... and your regulator would bring it up to ~14-15 V to charge up your battery & run electrical systems on your vehicle.

that's from common-sense

now looking for the amperage =90 A alternator for your vehicle, courtesy of looking online at any autoparts store (this case, autozone)

one more question, i will be running an amplifier that will draw 120 amps at peak. will a 120 amp alternator from the 5.2 fit for the 4.0? or should i just get a capacitor? i have a friend who will sell me the alternator for $50 with battery.
