93 S-10 Blazer- engine temperature gaugeksue 02-08-2009, 07:38 PM The gauge is not registering anything at all. I will not be able to tell if the motor is running hot, or overheating. How can I fix this?:banghead: duke350 02-08-2009, 08:26 PM On the side of the block on the passenger side there will be the temp guage sending unit. There is another temp sending unit towards the front under the 'snorkel'. This is the one most parts stores carry. The plugs on them are different, but they will screw in either place. Make sure you get the right one. I know NAPA carries both. ksue 02-08-2009, 10:32 PM On the side of the block on the passenger side there will be the temp guage sending unit. I'll try that :grinno: duke350 02-08-2009, 10:40 PM I think these are the 2 diff plug types. http://partimages2.genpt.com/partimages/647257.jpg http://partimages2.genpt.com/partimages/501988.jpg So, like I said, make sure you get the right one. Also, when you pull it out, it will leak coolant, unless you drain it first. Make sure engine isn't to warm. ksue 02-11-2009, 08:54 PM I think these are the 2 diff plug types. http://partimages2.genpt.com/partimages/647257.jpg http://partimages2.genpt.com/partimages/501988.jpg So, like I said, make sure you get the right one. Thank you so much for your insight. :smokin: vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
