will a 10-bolt 8.5 rear end (complete drum to drum) out of a 1974 chevelle fit in a 1970 chevelle? basically is it the same width and will the upper and lower trailing arms bolt up without any mods??

No. The shocks and control arms mount in a diffrent place.
