I recently bought a 99 jeep grand cherokee at a really good price, the blinkers didn't work so heres my problem. The right blinker works fine, the left blinker works when it wants to. If it's working and you hit a bump it stops working. I have checked everything i can think of and it sounds to me like a short somewhere, do you have any suggestions on where to look. Thought maybe someone else has ran into this before.

Welcome to AF -- 1st place I would look is at the multifunction switch on the steering column. In 9 years the turn signal switch has seen a lot of use.

Thanks for the advice, I actually found the problem this morning. The previous owner had hooked up a hot wire straight to the fuse and is was shorting out the blinker. I am new to this site, but I find it very helpful and easy to navigate through. I really appreciate this site.
