Want to do a 2.4L 4.3 Vortec swap in my 04 TJ

Anyone ever thought about swapp'in a Chevy 4.3 Vortec into a TJ?
The 2.4L 4banger's starting to pile on some miles, and would like some more muscle under the hood, so i can turn a set of 33's.
I used to have an older 4.3 in an Astro van, and that little V6 was really strong. My jeep is an 04 TJ, and the only leagle motors avalible are the Hemi, and the Chevy 4.3L Vortec V6 because the motor has to be the same yr or newer.
I dont really need 350 hp in a jeep, just so i can prove to my buddies that i can smoke the tires :2cents:
I realise that a gear swap would help in that department, but would'nt a TJ with a Vortec V6 make for a nice well rounded DD. :confused: :iceslolan
