has any one had the problem of getting a reading on the amp guage of 19. i tried removeing the pos battery cable and it still ran ok. the battery is new so i have no where else to go except that the gauge may be bad. could use the help:frown:

i would buy a voltage tester, there pretty cheap. if it still says your voltage is high i would assume its your alternator overcharging. what do your gauge read with the ignition on?

thanks for your reply and with switch on and not running it says 14 and 19 with i it running. i also belive it is the alternator.
