I would have to say your best bet is to call local trailer hitch places and speak with them.

They have the knowledge to fit you with a hitch that will meet your towing needs.

FWIW, the '95 Tahoe has a trailer capacity of 7k lbs (trailer/hitch and load).

To be on the safe side, reduce that to 5k lbs. Class 111 hitch. Check the Reese site it MAY show what you can use.

Whatever you find, make sure you add an aftermarket trans cooler and brake controller.

I use a Prodigy and I find it one of the best,

To add, Not knowing what the gross weight of your trailer will be I can't steer you in the right direction, may be just a little prod.

If you'll have less than 2000lbs towed load with a 150-200lb tongue weight you will likely not need a weight distribution hitch. If more, you will need one.

If you haven't towed before or for a long time, you might want to read the following site.

Be safe.
