when i pull out it feels like it shifts 2 gears at a time (skips a gear).

It could be...tranny upshifts are solenoid controlled, but it will code and set the check engine light when a malfunction is noticed...

do you feel two "bumps", like a double shift, or just feels like it's in too high range after the upshift?

Which shift is it? 1-2?
