Code reader

Does anyone know what kind of code reader is used for a 94 Buick Century. I bought the Equus 3123 model thinking it was the one but it's only good for Centurys up to 1993. Any help would be appreciated. The plug is a 12 pin.

Why not just jumper the A-B terminals and count flashes?

Thanks for the info. I e-mailed Innova and they don't make a code reader for this year of car. It appears that some cars in 94 and 95 didn't get either, so your idea is the way to go.

You probably can't jump the pins on your car, as the ALDL doesn't have the ground pin. 94 and 95 models are a hybrid (between OBD-I and OBD-II) that requires a professional type scan tool to pull codes. Sorry for the bad news.
