I have a California emmisions Jeep here in New Jersey and need to replace the exhaust system. What would I have to do to put in a Federal system??? What changes have to be done specifically with the computer ??? Thanks Arne

as long as you have the holes for the O2 sensors (on each end of the cat.) there would be no changes to the computer at all. the computer wont even know that the system has been changed.:)

That is the problem...The federal exhaust system has only 2 oxygen sensors. vs 4 sensors for the California system..Arne

Is New Jersey a California type emission state or a federal type?
If it's a stricter CA. Standards type state (two mini cats, 4 02 sensors) then that's what you have to use to be legal.
