i was going to drop a b16a into my car, but a friend told me that i should go with a b18c. i've been checking it out online and i'm starting to change my mind. can anyone tell me how much hp and torqe i should be able to get out a of stock b18c, what one would cost (or how much an old integra gsr would cost) or how easy parts are to come across for them (the reason i wanted a b16a was there is an absolutely endless supply of aftermarket parts)? also, how hard would it be to find parts to make it fit my 95 civic? i know about engine mounts, but headers and so on. thanks alot for any help

People suggest the B18C because of its torque advantage over the 1.6.The B16 is a good motor in a 5th gen. Both are easy to drop in and have tons of aftermarket availible. If you want to spend the extra go for it,but the B16 is nice.

b18c all the way...lil bigger displacement, better torque numbers outta the box, same amount of aftermarket support...u'd be much quicker w/ the b18c then the b16. (but i am a lil biased)

178bhp/8000rpm
134ft-lbs/7500rpm

is that all the torque it has? it feels like it has a hell of a lot more pull than that
