timeing belt on a 2.5l how bad is it to do?

I have a 98 sebring lxi coupe i just recently bought it and am getting it in tip top shape for the girlfriend to drive i inspected the timing belt and its def original so wat i was wondering how bad is it to do? i am a rather skilled mechanic and im sure its not gnna be as bad as my quad cam grand prix was however is there anything special i need to no bout for this car or anything 2 make it easier ?

Other than compressing the hydraulic tensioner. Do it slowly in a vise. Complete compression to align the retaing holes should take at least 3 minutes. Any faster and you can damage the tensioner.

thanx i prolly would have just cranked it in im guessing it got a hole to line up for a paper clip to fit so it doesnt come back out llike most tensioners have

A paper clip might be a little light for the job. Maybe a small hex wrench ?

well got her done it was a piece of cake alot easier than i thought it was gonna be runs great and im glad i decided to replace the belt it was ready to snap big cracks on the outside of the belt only took bout three hours
