You can't put 20 inch and they are called WHEELS on your car. It would ride horrible and look like a clown car as well. 17 inch WHEELS are as big as you can go with out rubbing on something. And that's at a maximum of 8 inches wide WITH proper off set, you still MAY have to roll the fenders to get them to fit under. They also weigh 3 times as much as the stock wheels, meaning that your car will be harder to get moving and STOP from moving. The tire diameter will be way to large, causing your fuel mileage to drop into the teens as well as the shocks may not be able to handle the unsprung weight of the wheels. These cars are engineered to work as a unit~ you ain't driving no Chevy here. daddyo8 02-21-2009, 10:07 PM delluser, I concur with Chief Broken-Wrench, theres a difference between tricking and pimping your ride. Bimmers look best when conservatively dressed like a three piece Brooks Brothers suit vs '70s polyester flairs from goodwill. 16s or 17s look best on a 3 series, IMHO;) Put your hard earned money in horsepower and torque and it won't matter what your car looks like, you'll be too busy winning pinkslips to be concerned about it.
