help noise after pressing gas pedal

today it was snowing and i was driving slower than usaul and ease on and off the pedal didnt want to do damage going to fast.
as i was ease on the pedal if sought of feel as if the reaction time of me pressing the pedal slowly and the car speed seems a lil slow (if that makes any sense)
but most important i noticed as i ease off the pedal i hear a noise as its being released its hard to describe the sound but if feel like the pedal drags back up not literally but that sound sounds like something like that
can any one identify please help
