exhaust questionhshawn31 02-03-2009, 12:03 PM i'm cutting my exhaust off just past the catalytic conv. because the bolts are of course rusted beyond belief. :headshake My question is, does anybody run their rodeo without a muffler? its gonna be awhile before i can get a muffler and tail pipe, so was wondering how loud it was gonna be. hshawn31 02-03-2009, 07:58 PM well, its off and its loud!!! gonna have to get a new muffler and tail pipe set. the power was down. new question: what does it mean when there is some oil in some of the spark plug chambers? :uhoh: Cat Fuzz 02-04-2009, 12:16 AM Oil in the spark plug tubes is quite common. That is the valve cover leaking o-rings leaking. Napa sells a set of plug wires with a raised ring that will keep the oil away from where the wire connects to the plug to prevent misfires. The only way to fix is to re-seal the valve covers. hshawn31 02-04-2009, 12:04 PM the oil doesnt get to where the plug wire connects to the plug, just at the bottom where the plug screws in. if is no harm, i'll just leave it alone then. Cat Fuzz 02-04-2009, 11:55 PM If enough of it puddles up in there, it could cause misfires. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
