I need some help for a friend at work and I hope I can repay some good advise on other areas that I know better !!

TRANSMISSION..... It has been fine and has 6000 on a rebuild transmission from ford, on the way to work he stopped for coffee and was pulling in the driveway and heard a big clunk, still moved and got his juice. He left all seemed OK maybe a little slipping he is not sure. he pulled into work (mind he lives 3 miles from work) another clunk pulled into parking spot and can and told me of what happened. I told him you need fluid lets go check, all good at the mark, bright red, smeels new, and now put truck in any gear and it dont move at all...

Ive been told of electronic valves that I cause is the problim, If you guys have any info on this please help.

We can take out trans, I've put in shift kits in the past but have never gone fully deep inside and he doesnt have the money for a $1500 rebuild

Look and see if his drive shaft fell off. That will make a helluva clunk.

I'm not a transmission man, but I don't know of any valves that will disable a tranny entirely.
