I have a 1996 JGC 5.2 v8 i have looked high and low and cannot find what the transfer box fluid will take. I have the manual and it says mopar transfer case fluid or equivalent and I wonder if anyone knows that the equivalent is???

I have found out from the stealership that the correct fluid is ATF 4 fluid for the quadratrac transfercase, you would need 1.18L. This is different from my manual that says mopart transfercase fluid, (or equivalent).
