Does anyone know any good cars that are easy to repair yourself and gets good fuel economy that's under 9000? But nothing to old or embarrassing to get out of.

Anything too new will be hard to repair.

As much as I hate them, I'd recommend a '95-'98 Toyota Camry as the perfect car for what you're looking for. If you prefer something American and don't need 4 doors, I'd go with a '96-'98 Dodge Avenger or Chrysler Sebring 4 cylinder.

Crown Victoria police cars. They are fleet vehicles so they were made for easy maintenece and to last forever. Some NYC cab companies use them up to and well over 500,000 miles! They are awesome cars too. I could help you get one that is very recent with low miles for under $9,000 in fantastic condition.

A Honda CRX would be my choice, they'er my favorite cars, they get up to like 50-60 miles to the gallon and they look very nice, like sports cars, I've also seen them around for pretty cheap, much less than 9000, plus from what I've seen, they're very easy to fix up (not to mention they last forever anyways)
