hi, does any one knows the factory set idle RPM for a Firebird '89, V6, 2.8L? Appreciate the help. Thanks,

John , there should be a decal , somewhere under your hood , that has that info printed on it . Of course , being a 1989 model , it may be gone . If so , go to your local library , they should have automotive manuals ( I know my local library does ) that you can reference . Since they are reference books , they generally won't let you check them out but you can read them there and copy any related pages to take with you . Let us know what you find out . My 87 Fiero 2.8 V6 runs around 750-900 on idle. The Fieros seem to idle up and down, probably TPS sensor in mine is getting old.
