2003 MustangDrewet88 01-27-2009, 04:26 AM Well if you look at my last post in this forum you can see I was looking at a nice 89 fox body but of course my mom had something to say. She doesn't want me to buy from a person she wants me to get it from a dealership. I rather buy a used car for the simple fact that the fox-body's look great IMO and i won't have a car note. But I don't wanna piss off my mother. So looking at the used dealerships around me I found a 2003 Mustang GT. Its for $8500 and has 76887 miles on it. I have to put $2000 down and I find out the apr and such after I go down and talk to the people tomorrow. Now I don't know much about this 4.6l motor but it is a manual which is a good thing. Can anyone tell me anything about this engine and if its a good deal? It will be the first car that I buy off of a lot and they also to custom work so I'll probably have them throw in an in-dash with navigation because I get lost alot. lol. thnx for the help. Drewet88 01-28-2009, 03:57 AM Well I learned today that I can only can do bolt-ons if I don't want to void my warranty. At least until I pay the car off. drdisque 01-31-2009, 01:30 PM I'm surprised a 2003 still has any warranty left on it. Is it a dealer warranty? Drewet88 02-01-2009, 04:34 AM yeah dealer warranty its 36months or 36,000 miles which ever comes first. I got it today its black with 77k. I got it for 7000 which isn't much of a deal after comparing it to kbb but I like the car so I don't mind it. I'll shine it up and take some pics tomorrow before the super bowl of course. There's also a mustang club in my city called Stang up they asked me to join when I was at the gas station I'm thinking about it they said they get discounts on aftermarket parts and such. drdisque 02-01-2009, 02:54 PM That's a pretty good price. 2003 was a good year too as they'd worked pretty much any defects out that were in that car and they made a few appearance changes that year that I liked.
