I have a 2000 blazer with a dead motor in the Driver's door.
I have verified the switch is good.
I have found online guides on how to do the replacement.
But all guides say lower window half way.
But my window is completely stuck in the up position.
I have drilled out the 4 rivets on the regulator.
And cannot figure out how to get the regulator and motor out of the door.
Anyone have any ideas?
I was thinking about putting a bolt in the regulator and drilling out the rivets on the motor. and see if I can get the window to go down that way.
But I read could be very dangerous due to the clock spring.
I was also thinking of putting a bolt through the regulator, taping window up, and using and cutting the arm on the regulator and replace the whole regulator and motor assembly. This may be the easiest way I can think of...
Thanks,
Eric
