Pontiac G6 Door Ajar Alarm

2005 Pontiac G6. Love this car. But, I was driving tonight and all of a sudden, my door ajar alarm came on. I stopped and opened and closed all doors. The alarm continued on. i did this a few times but it would not turn off. I kept driving and after about 10 minutes the dome light came on. I can't get the alarm to stop. I can turn the vehicle off and restart it and the dome light will go off, but the alarm will not. Also, when I use the remote to lock the doors, the dome light will not go off. I have never had this issue before. Just started randomly tonight. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Also, we are in Western NY so can the cold or salt have something to do with this?

It sounds like one of the door plungers has broken or is not making proper contact. I would check all the door plungers to make sure none are loose or visibly broken.

I'm having the same problem ,just wondering did you find the fix ?thanks
