What the VC does is allow slippage between front and rear during some maneuvers, and eliminate slippage in some circumstances. When it begins to fail, it will cause a little binding in sharp turns, as yours does. I haven't done this repair, but I understand it's not too bad. Do a search under viscous coupler and you should find a wealth of info. dksob81 01-21-2009, 07:21 AM Here's the instructions for replacing the VC, http://www.masoncomputing.com/np249/, If you need a VC I got a good one from a 95 with about 50k miles on it. Actually I got the entire Transfer Case. But if you want the VC from or the entire case let me know, not sure if the VC (or transfer Case) is the same for the Quadra-trac II tho, might want to make sure it will work first. fredjacksonsan 01-21-2009, 08:20 AM Great link, dksob81. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
