For the last few months the center console info panel is blinking after starting the vehicle. The time is correct but the date reads January 1 and needs to be reset to the current date. After resetting it all is OK and the blinking is gone.

Any ideas ??

I had trouble with the overhead console info center on our Limited 5.9 I replaced it with a used one from the wrecking yard. I belong to another Jeep forum & it seems these things work or don't. I do know on the ZJ of mine the overhead info center has a processor that does tie into the lower info center. When my upper info center was not working proper I also got a coolant sensor warning everytime I started it up. I replaced the sensor & it still kept coming on & when I replaced the upper unit that cleared up. So I guess I would try & find one in a yard & start there.
