I assume it's the airbag light on my dash panel has been on for over a year. I haven't had any work done on it so I don't know what is going on. Before it went on, my ABS light would come on and off and the airbag light stayed constantly on. I failed inspection because of it! What does the light mean and can I fix it myself? Please help!!

The airbag light means the system has been deactivated due to a failure. There is a service bulleting (# 08-020-07) on your van for cracked airbag sensors. You must have an R in the 11th position of the VIN # for it to apply. Not sure if Chrysler or you pays for it if the van is out of warranty. Once repaired you get a lifetime warranty on it. Check with your dealer.

even if the tsb mentioned does not apply to this vehicle, check the front impact sensor connectors. I've had to change many of the connectors due to heavy green corrosion inside the connector. The best thing to do is find someone who can scan for what code is in the system. They are also well known for poor connections at the passenger airbag.
