I am having 2 problems and they seem to be related. My interior lights stay on long after I have locked the doors and retired for the night. They also randomly come on when driving down the road and won't turn off. I have pulled the fuse for the lights so now I don't have interior lights and my power mirrors don't work. In addition, at about the same time, my power door locks started to randomly lock. I would start my car and be outside waiting for it to warm up or scraping ice off the windows and without warning-click, click, click-all my doors are locked and van is running with me outside looking in. I changed all of my switches for my doors-front, side, rear hatch, etc. It didn't fix the problem. Is there something that controls both interior lights such as the delay and also the power door locks. Might be a good place to start. I sure would appreciate some help. Has anyone else experienced this problem.
Thanks.

1). Does the vehicle have a security system, either factory or aftermarket? It could be a short circuit in the "lock" circuit.

2). It might be a problem in the lock module, (if your vehicle is equipped with that option). Check your owners manual for the procedure on setting the auto-lock function, there are several ways you can program it. If the programming procedure works ok, the module is most likely ok.

Post your results.
