Grounding wire to the block '96smkdamicz 01-06-2009, 09:21 PM I recently replaced my cylinder head and notice in my book they told me to remove the grounding wire from the block. I located where it should be next to the distr but it wasn't there. Can I just get a normal electrical wire and attach it from the block to the distr or is it a special braided wire? A pic would help. Thanks Scrapper 01-06-2009, 09:30 PM just got to auto zone or any parts store like that and buy the neg cable. tripletdaddy 01-07-2009, 04:05 AM An 10 or 8 gauge wire with crimp connectors would work, but use stranded wire, not solid and use oil and gas resistant wire. A pre-made light guage battery type wire with bolt hole terminals on both ends will work too. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
