I'm trying to change the belt on my truck but it is so tight to get in there. I can't get enough slack to get it over the last pully. Its really frustrating me. Is there some special way to do it because i dont think that it should be this hard to do. Thanks and please help!

Did you find the spring loaded tension pulley and put a wrench on it to get the slack you need?

make damm sure that your replacement belt is the correct belt and size is exactly the same...some of these belts/stores say they are correct but are not....

save the removed belt if still workable for a back up,just in case the new belt is defective...

There are two different types of pulleys, ribbed and smooth. Ribbed pulleys are found on the a/c, p/s, and alt. Smooth pulleys are found on the idler and water pump. Make sure that the belt is on all the accessories first then rotate the tensioner and install the belt under the idler pulley (smooth) last. If you try to install the belt over the ribbed pulleys it will not work!!
