Hello,

Does anyone of you know which brand of wheels have been used to build this car at 1/24 or have any recommendation:

Porsche 911 "ESSO" Tour de Corse '80

Here you can see the pictures of the guy who built this car. I love this model and want to try to build something similar.

Thank you so much,

Those are Gotti wheels and I've never seen them in 1/24. It looks like the builder has converted them from the Volk wheels from either the Hasegawa or Tamiya Toyota 88C. Check the first page of the build diary.

Thank you so much. I saw the diary but as I do not know Japanese ( I wish I would) I used the Google translator and therefore I was unable of getting from where he got the wheels.

As I see you must speak Japanese, I was wondering if you would be so kind as to help me out one last time and tell me if you understand it how this guy get the auxiliary lights where you can read ESSO in big letters.

Maybe did he get them from the Stratos Hasegawa model?

Thank you so much for your help, I really appreciate it.

Felix,

Unfortunately I don't speak Japanese, I simply recognized the parts. I ran the text through Babelfish and concluded the wheels are the front wheels from the Hasegawa Toyota 88C. http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10055689
The builder doesn't state the source of the auxiliary lights but they sure look like they the Hasegawa Stratos parts. Good luck, Kurzheck

Thank you so much, I will try to get spare wheels from Hasegawa.

Just to wrap it up, as on the Hasegawa kit's picture the front tyres are covered I would like to confirm that the 4 wheels are the front tyres and not the rear tyres.

Thank you so much for everything, without your help, I would never have recognised these wheels.

You were absolutely right, they are the front tyres from Toyota 88c.

I just tried to order them at Rainbow ten so that I can avoid buying two complete kits just fir the tyres.

Thank you so much for the info.

The covers are a separate part. You will need 4 sprues as each sprue of 2 wheels contains 1 front and 1 rear.
